Video Operation Platform of a City in Fujian Province, China

1. Background of the Project:

Project Name: A Fujian City Mine Management Video Operating Platform

Project Description:

In order to improve mine safety management, accident prevention and police intelligence emergency handling, a public security system in a certain city of Fujian Province requires that the mine and mine monitoring video in the city should be uniformly connected to the mine video operation platform; the public security relevant functional departments and users can, according to their authority, obtain the relevant video data, so as to eliminate and prevent the occurrence of a mine accident, the dynamic grasp of real-time mine safety status.

Application Time: July 2012

2. User Needs:

1) Due to the importance of the mines and mine site warehouses, the mine explosives depot should be equipped with fingerprint attendance machines. Anyone who enters the warehouse or explosive storage warehouse should by means of fingerprints. At the same time, the local mine monitoring system will automatically capture the images of the fingerprint entrants and upload multiple images to the video platform.

2) The local monitoring of mines use their existing network (China Telecom, China Unicom and China Mobile). To make the video equipments can be accessed, the video operation platform needs to solve the problem of video access from three different network users.

3) Due to the unpredictability of the safety status of mines, it is required to monitor the key positions of key mines, such as key entrances and exits, escape tunnels, etc. In the meantime, an alarm sensor is installed. When the sensor triggers an alarm, the monitoring system triggers the alarm associated image upload video to operation platform, and notify the relevant personnel in duty to deal with the event.

4) Due to the particularity of the location of mines, some mine monitoring equipment is connected to the mine video operation platform by 3G network.

5) Video operating platform for all mine images to achieve centralized monitoring and management.

3. Requirements Analysis:

According to the user's application needs, we make the following application analysis:

1) Central Management Applications

Taichen Software can interconnect a variety of distributed device information through the network, forming a huge data center management resources for the user's centralized management / control / quick search to provide efficient solutions.

2) Multiple Image Access Methods

Taichen Software supports C/S, B/S, mobile client, etc., the real-time preview, group preview, group switching and other operations and strategic response, the preview support 1-64 channels different split screen display mode.

3) Application of Streaming Proxy Technology

Due to limitations of hardware and network resources, the number of acceptable connection requests per video device is limited. When the number of connections exceeds a certain value, the device may work erratically or the connection is interrupted. Therefore, in order to adapt to various bandwidths and large amounts concurrent access, we use advanced streaming proxy technology to address the network bottlenecks, and hardware resource consumption issues.

In this case, the video equipment is connected to the Internet through different network operators (Telecom, Unicom, Mobile), because of the limited site environment. With the technologies of static routing table, advanced streaming proxy mechanism and user rights distribution, Taichen Software integrates cross-carrier network and allocates access mechanisms for different operators so as to solve the problem of triple-user access.

3G video equipments access network, use the initiative report and reverse connection technology to achieve access to equipment.

4) Application of Dynamic Domain Name Resolution

Domain name analysis mainly for video equipment, the center server to provide domain name resolution service, so that users can use a fixed domain name to visit the front-end is not fixed IP address.

4. Program Implementation

Topology:

According to the above demand analysis and the actual situation of the user, we make the following configuration for the chief control dispatch room:

1) One central management server (Domain Name Server integrated): to achieve all the equipment of the network connection, server configuration, user login authentication and management of basic information settings; at the same time to provide domain name resolution service to the video operating platform for all devices.

2) One C/S Client Station: to achieve video preview, playback, backup and other functions.

3) 3 Streaming Proxy servers: to solve the problem of multi-user concurrent access; at the same time, set different streaming proxy mechanism to different users, to solve the problem of triple-user access.
